The GRAND CARNAVAL of ICC Kids Camp 2008

Yes Guys, for all those who enjoy the Carnaval of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, this year we are going to have our very own Carnaval Party 2008 right here in our very own ICC!



Aha! You Read correctly friends. This year lets celebrate this festival of life by gathering together, dancing and partying through the evening on SUNDAY 10th February 2008 from 17:00 onwards with our very own DJ Mohit!

So Friends, do not forget to note down this Grand event

• Time: 17:00 to 20:30
• Dress Code: Surprise us with your imagination... There will be a competition with 3 winners and special prizes for the them! So do come with any disfraz and try and win.
• Price: ONLY 6 Euros/ Person, children below 2 years Free (Includes entrance, guaranteed entertainment and fun, face painting, food soft drinks ands lots of surprises) Tickets will be sold at the Door.

For all those who don´t have anything ready, we have a great solution ... Yes friends this year we are going to help you make your very own Masks, a simple and extravagant way to change your look.

Forthcoming February Yoga Class

Hi Dear Friends!

How have you all been? I am sure all have been busy getting back to School routines... with the tips we gave you all on the First Yoga Class!

Well, as we promised you , our Yoga classes would be repeated every month, and voilá! Here they are again! Don´t forget to mark it on your calenders...EVERY FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH from 18:30 to 19:30. Yes! So don´t forget:

• This activity is going to be conducted by our well known teacher Ms. Priya Bhatia,


• Date: Friday 4th January 2008


• Place: the ICC (Pineda)


• Time: 6.30 pm sharp. Whoever is interested in their kids participating in this event, has to be there BEFORE the mentioned time, as there shouldn't be interruptions once the class has started.


• Price: 2 € / kid.


• Kids should:
• Bring 1 long beach towel
• Wear socks
• Come in a tracksuit (Chándal)
• A note book and a pencil

So Kids please tell your parents to bring you on time, as this time we will not be allowing any interruptions once the class Begins. Please be there by 6.15pm SHARP max... See you!

1st Yoga Class Review

"Our First Yoga Class.- By Meenakshi Samtani

Our First Yoga Class was fun & entertaining. We learnt lots of things from our teacher Priya aunty (Priya Bhatia), she was kind & nice. We were twelve kids. We learnt some new things and it was an hour full of relaxation.

In the yoga class we learnt some tricks to follow:
1) Make sure your back is always straight
2) Before concentrating in something close your eyes for 2 minutes and listen to your surroundings.
3) Every 15 minutes while watching at the same distance (TV, computer…), look out from the window to the sky.

We also got some excellent advice on how to concentrate on our studies…Aunty Priya also taught us how to act like a lion, snake, dog, tree…It was fun!
The most important thing we discovered is to LOVE OURSELVES!!
Yoga is good for many things and especially to concentrate and relax, some things are very helpful.
We would also like if more children took interest in yoga and join us for the next time!

Forthcoming Tulsi Planting

Hi!

After the our super duper relaxing Yoga Session, we are doing Tulsi planting AGAIN, due to the huge public demand for it. Yes, so for all of you who missed out last time on the Tulsi Planting event, or for those whose Tulsis haven´t grown properly... we bring one more chance across on this Friday 11th January 2008. Here below are the details:

• Date: Friday 11th January 2008
• Time: 18:30 (6.30 pm)
• Place: ICC (Pineda)
• Price: 4 Euros
• This time we will be planting the seeds in big pots...

So please do not forget to inform all your friends to be there!
