Navratri is round the corner, and what is fun and typical of this festival, specially done by the Gujarati's at this ocassion? Any guesses...? Yes you are right, The Dandiya Raas, and, what do we need for it... DANDIYAS!!! Yes Friends, that´s why we have thought of making our very own dandiya sticks with you all this year. Take a look at some examples:

Recycled CD Candle Holders

Hi Friends!
We are sure you have plenty of used CD´s that are scratched or just are unwanted ? Well then this week we have thought of recycling them... Yes dears, we are going to transform them into pretty candle holders... take a look at some example:

Ganpati Pyjama Nite...

Hi Friends...
After last years night stay over at the ICC for the super Ganpati Pyjama Party, This year, due to public demand, we having yet another stay over during this Ganpati Chathurti...

The Dhamakedar Ganpati Pyjama Nite!

• Time: 11.30 pm onwards
• All are welcome, but all children must be accompanied by an adult
• Please bring your own, pillows, blanket, rugs... all you may need

Forthcoming Childrens Diwali Ball Preparations

Hi Friends!

This year the ICC Kids Camp is organizing one of the greatest n most awaited shows done by the kids in the year. Yes guys, this year we are putting up the GREAT CHILDREN'S DIWALI BALL 2008


This year the concept is completely new n fresh... we will not only have dances, but also a little play, talent shows, and lots n lots more.

All those who are interested in participating please come to write in ur names on:

All those who have different talents such as play the Guitar, Flute, Piano, Sing, Recite a verse or poem, say a joke etc... or any other ideas are most welcome to do so. Do come n inform us too

Movie this week: DASHAVTAR

As we told you there is lots in store for all... Take out ur diary n don´t forget to make note:

Movie This Week:
DASHAVATAR

• Story:The film DASHAVATAR is based on 10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu seen by a boy and a girl. The film's plot goes like this - Two children escape from the kidnappers in the temple (which is set on fire) and are saved by Lord Vishnu. Naarad, who comes in the avtar of a pujari, tries to convince the children that it was Lord Vishnu himself who saved them. This is when he takes the children to the time when the world was going through the cosmic resolution. In the process, DASHAVATAR also knits together the legends of Ram, Krishna, Parshuram, Vaman, Narsimha, Buddha and the tales of Vishnu in earlier avatars Matsya, Kurma, Varaha and finally Kalki.

As per the film's director Bhavik, 'DASHAVATAR has a very interesting story telling pattern in which the old world sensitivities would appeal to the modern mind.'

Most Awaited Festival about to Begin...

Hi Friends...

So how have your summer holidays been? Sure all have had great ones! We, here at our classes, have had a Ball of a time with all our different activities, which we are sure you all have been reading about even if you have not attended coz u have been away!

Never mind dears, we have lots more in store for all...

To begin with, we would like to remind you all that the most awaited festival celebrated by all here in Tenerife south is about to begin... Yes u guessed right, Our very special friend is back with us once more, So lets celebrate Ganpati Chaturthi at the best together.

• Sthapna at ICC : Wednesday 3rd September 2008 at 15:00 Sharp
• Daily morning Aarti: 9:30 am Sharp
• Daily Bhajans n night Aarti : 22:00 to 23:00 sharp
• More details on visarjan, and a night stay over with the kids at the ICC, will shortly be informed to all
