Salt Carpet Design Competition

Hi Friends!

Once again this year the Ayuntamiento de Adeje has approached our Indian community to participate in their celebration of Corpus Christi in Adeje. As every year, many groups are participating in the making of the Alfombras de Sal (Salt Carpets) on 24th May 2008. This year we are in the hunt of a new and outstanding design for this event.

We have a Unique competition open to ALL of you everywhere... no matter your age or from where you are reading us. We need you to send in your designs, for what we call Rangoli, before Saturday 10th May 2008. Our jury will select ONE design to represent our community. The winner will be given a Special Gift Hamper and will lead the making of the carpet on the day!
